Body wraps have been used since Cleopatra’s days and have been enhanced as a beauty treatment ever since.  A body wrap works by ridding the body of toxins, dead skin cells, unclogging  pores , treating blemishes and removing excess water from deep layers of skin. Most of these toxins are  removed during the exfoliation process where the dead skin cells are sloughed off to expose the new, healthier skin underneath. Then the mask and wrap allow the body to fully absorb the nutrients and totally re-moisturise the skin.

Thalassagel Body Wrap is a complete body treatment which cleanses, detoxifies, tones, eliminates cellulite and gives inch loss (approx 4″-8″) as well as improving the texture and appearance of the skin. The end result is achieved by the active ingredients (namely seaweed) working on the  tissues.

During the treatment you will firstly be measured then cleansed, toned, firmed and lathered with Thalassagel and then wrapped up in bandages. During your consultation we will discuss what you would like to achieve from your wrap and then I will mix the oils to compliment this-using Rosemary, Lemon and Lavender essential oils. You will lie on a soft-padded couch and with the help of a heated blanket, towels and your own body heat you will be left to relax and let the products do their stuff!
Falling asleep is common and actually aids in the bodies complete relaxation-thus resulting in more inch loss, highly conditioned skin and a higher absorption of products.

*PLEASE NOTE: You do not need to be completely naked for this treatment, please wear whatever you feel comfortable in (knickers, bra, hot-pants. etc) just as long as you wear old underwear. Any area that is to be worked on needs to be free of clothing.
